Anna Lazarus is a partner in LashGoldberg’s Miami office. Prior to joining the Firm, she worked in the Miami office of Hunton Andrews Kurth, LLP for over a decade.
Anna has extensive experience in employment law matters, as well as commercial disputes, with an emphasis on the defense of employers against allegations of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation; violations of the Fair Labor Standards Act and Family and Medical Leave Act; and the enforcement of non-competition agreements and other restrictive covenants. She also defends businesses in public accommodations litigation. Anna has extensive experience in both single plaintiff and complex cases, with jury trial and appellate experience, in addition to defending employers before the EEOC and comparable state and local agencies.
Chambers USA has twice recognized Anna as an Associate to Watch. She has also been recognized by other legal organizations, such as Super Lawyers and South Florida Legal Guide.
Anna received her law degree from Vanderbilt University Law School, where she was a Chancellor’s Law Scholar and served as the Executive Articles Editor of the Vanderbilt Journal of Transnational Law. She received an A.B. from Amherst College in History and Spanish, magna cum laude.
